It is great fun and hugely satisfying selling Marama's marvellous lamb, beef and sausages to NZers. Everywhere we cook it, whether at home or in retailers, people just love eating it!
But last week brought some particularly satisfying feedback from discerning foodies - twice we heard that Marama's meat was the best that people had eaten! Wow :-) For Graham and the team at Marama, this is really encouraging and motivating. Sometimes they forget how lucky they are eating their own meat most nights (and for lunches!)
This week Graham is in Christchurch with Mitchell, to be at Jared's graduation and while he is there, he'll visit some retailers with meat samples. Lucky them. In Auckland, Andrew has had the delicious gluten free sausages two nights in a row - he was thrilled with that. We are fortunate to have a freezer full :-)

Organic farming
I am surprised how many people, both town and country, tuned into Country Calendar on Saturday night to see Bruce McGill and his family talk about their beautiful organic farm in the Catlins. Bruce is a great person and an excellent advocate for farming the organic way - and profitably! The family are a part of the Cogent Group of farmers which Graham belongs too, an excellent though provoking group of people, who stood out to me at their conference because they are all so willing to help each other to succeed - not like law conferences where firms are trying to trample over each other to get to the clients!
Marama's marvellous meat is winning praise from customers who love it - which is great :-)
Have a great week, wherever you are!
